Rosa 'AAC333'
Bred in Canada and named after the famous Canadian jazz pianist and composer Oscar Peterson, Oscar Peterson™ Rose is not only tough, but also beautiful. Blooming from early summer through fall, the semi-double flowers on this own root shrub rose start off a shade of yellow cream and turn to bright white with a contrasting center of golden yellow stamens. The flowers are arranged in sprays and accent the rich green, disease-resistant foliage beautifully. The upright habit makes this a go to rose for informal hedges. As an added bonus, don’t deadhead the spent blooms in the fall as Oscar Peterson™ forms bright orange rose hips that can be used for jams and jellies and provide seasonal interest.
